Subject: Request: Designing AI Products course, starting January 19

Hi [manager’s name],

I’d like to take Designing AI Products, a six-week live course from Seamful School, taught by Nadia Kessler and Theo Baptiste. It starts January 19 and costs $2,150.

It takes about five hours a week: two 90-minute sessions on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 9 to 10:30 Pacific, plus project work. The project would be [feature], which we’re already building, so the time goes into our own roadmap. By the end I’d have a reviewed plan for how it handles wrong answers, slow responses, and corrections, and a case study I can walk the team through.

Seamful School, LLC invoices the company directly, accepts purchase orders, and will send a W-9. Sessions are recorded if a meeting conflicts, and if I drop out before the end of week two, they refund the company in full.

The syllabus is attached. Could this come out of my learning budget?

Thanks,
[your name]
